Action description

Hamilton OnDemand is a new sensor leasing program for breweries that offers state-of-the-art measurement technology as a cost-effective subscription. It is specifically designed for small and medium sized breweries that want to start or expand in-line measurement technology. A new feature of the program is that OnDemand does not require the purchase of sensors. The sensors are leased for one year like a newspaper subscription. This significantly reduces the investment costs per measuring point, or more sensors can be installed and used for a given investment budget. Customers thus pay a fixed price per year and measuring point. The number of sensors can be extended at any time through additional leasing agreements. An important advantage of the subscription is that the sensors do not have to be purchased and therefore not written off. The associated bureaucratic effort and capital commitment are eliminated. At the end of each year, the sensors are replaced by freshly maintained sensors at the factory, so that subscribers are always up to date with the latest measurement technology without additional costs. OnDemand is initially available for the two optical oxygen sensors VisiFerm mA and VisiTrace mA. These two sensor types cover all applications for measuring oxygen in the brewing process. VisiFerm mA is suitable for all measuring points where the presence of oxygen is desired or tolerated, such as in wort aeration, yeast propagation or CO2 recovery. In contrast, VisiTrace mA is designed for all those measuring points where it is necessary to ensure that the oxygen content is as low as possible, e.g. filtration, storage tank, filling line or water deaeration. The sensors are robust, precise and have already proven themselves many times in breweries. By installing the in-line sensors, previously hidden potentials for optimizing the brewing process can be discovered and product quality can be increased.
