Bridge into a dual future

The title of the presentation is not 100% right, “ Dual Bridge into a digital future” would be more correct.
Actually a lot of people would appreciate to use the opportunity to operate a sensor with a digital protocol that also allows to utilize the additional information. They usually fail because of the installed 4-20mA basis that they need for the integration into their existing plant. Dual channel sensors support both protocols, even at a time. The signal can be transferred analog, while configuration and predictive maintenance is done via IO Link. If later the plant is converted completely into a digital system, the same sensor can still be used, sharing the measured value now digital.
