PET-Verpackungen GmbH Deutschland is an independent company within the Wiegand-Glas Group. The family-run company has been producing preforms in Großbreitenbach/Thuringia for more than 25 years - now around 8 million a day. In addition, around 850,000 PET containers roll off the production line every day. The company offers everything from classic packaging to containers in customer-specific designs. The product range includes over 120 different preform designs, KeyKeg® and UniKeg® large containers as well as individual injection molded parts, e.g. carrying handles or base parts for KeyKegs. Using state-of-the-art technology, customer requirements can be implemented flexibly and efficiently. The use of recycled materials in the preforms and containers is particularly sustainable. A unique PET recycling plant, which is operated at the site, ensures the highest quality so that products with a recycled content of up to 100% can be produced. The already low product carbon footprint of PET as a material can therefore be reduced even further.
