sera CausticPrep. Due to infrastructure problems, the punctual delivery of liquid caustic soda is not guaranteed everywhere in the world. The sera CausticPrep enables the simple and safe production of caustic soda lye from solids and thus ensures the availability of NaOH, even in remote areas. sera also supplies the necessary equipment for storage and dosing of the finished lye.
When mixing caustic soda lye from solids, an exothermic reaction with temperatures of up to 95°C occurs. The sera CausticPrep is designed in such a way that the user can easily feed the caustic soda flakes into the process from a safe distance. Fields of application: Production of caustic soda from pellets and flakes. Installation: The stainless steel hopper is filled with solids by a screw conveyor, which the operator feeds into a conveyor hopper. The operator's safety is guaranteed by the spatial distance to the hot container. Design data: End product NaOH solution 20 - 50%, by reaction heat up to approx. 95° C. Available sizes: - 1 m³ batching tank - 2 m³ batching tank - 3 m³ batching tank - 5 m³ batching tank.
