PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Hybrid bearings are rolling bearings whose races and rolling elements are made of different materials. The races of a hybrid bearing are usually made of roller bearing steel; with the rolling elements, however, a high-performance ceramic, z. B. silicon nitride Si3N4 is used. We supply rolling bearings in a wide variety of designs in hybrid design, e.g. spindle bearings, angular contact ball bearings, deep groove ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings. Hybrid bearings are particularly suitable for applications with high speeds and are characterized by high chemical resistance, corrosion resistance and toughness. These properties also allow operation in the direct product environment. Hybrid bearings also act as electrical insulators due to their high dielectric strength. In their corrosion-resistant design, hybrid bearings are suitable for the most difficult operating conditions up to and including operation without lubricant.
