Product Description

Our sorting robot ensures automatic sorting of the bottles directly in the crate - and thus represents the best possible solution for sorting empty bottles, both in terms of space and investment requirements. Depending on the task, the sorting robot is equipped with several sorting stations, each with 2-4 packing tulips, which are responsible for the handling of the individual compartment positions (removal of the wrong bottle/insertion of the correct bottle). The correct bottle is immediately brought from the buffer store, so that the travel distances are reduced to a minimum. Both the removal of the wrong bottles and the insertion of the correct bottles is done in the passing crate - i.e. the packing tulips move along with the crate at the transport speed. It is not necessary to stop the crates; the speed and thus also the sorting capacity (depending on task up to 1,200 cph) remain constant. As each sorting station is only responsible for 1-2 bottles, and as the packing tulips can move to any position in the crate, crates with different compartments can be sorted simultaneously. Thus, for example, the robot can handle 20-bottle crates as well as 24-bottle crates (SSL) and 11-bottle crates (LSL). Neither special format parts nor changeover work are necessary. We have gone one step further, especially for our customers in the soft drink industry: So the sorting robot is now able to handle crates with different dimensions, especially old and new GDB crates mixed together. Depending on the task, up to 12 different bottle types can be sorted directly into the crates provided. For this purpose, the sorting robot is equipped with an empty crate feeder.
