Certified Hygienic Drainage System made to measure | Our Drainage system consists of channel, cover and floor drain (single-piece, with vertical or horizontal outlet connection) including a new air trap. The reasons for developing it were the increasingly tighter hygiene regulations in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry and in commercial kitchens. Our know-how accumulated over seven decades is shown in the process. The shape of the channel thus allows a rapid and safe removal of dirt even when using less water. In addition, it is possible to clean it optimally, as there are no dead angles. The floor drain was provided with a new, highly efficient air trap that does not need any welding seams and can be completely dismantled for cleaning. The excellent properties of our innovative hygienic channel system set new standards. This has been confirmed by the famous Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart with a hygiene certificate. This is based on a combination of requirements from already existing basic specifications: EU GMP Annex 1, EHEDG Doc. 8 & Doc. 44, DIN EN1672-2 and ISO 14159. The whole hygienic channel system was classified in clean room class GMP C. The Wiedemann floor drain was therefore certified with the highest possible classification (GMP C) in the clean room classes for floor drains. As usual at WIEDEMANN, this solution is made to measure for each customer. That means unique flexibility for the customers in the width of the channel and also the initial depth.
