Over 55 Years of Munkadur® tank linings
Munkadur® was developed in 1963 as the successor to the hot-cured Emaillit® lining. As a solvent-free 2-component epoxy system, Munkadur® cures at room temperature and thus enables linings to be applied on site at the customer’s premises. Since then, worldwide more than 10,000 beer, champagne and wine tanks have been lined with Munkadur®. This corresponds to a total coated area of well over 1,000,000 m².
Munkadur® Tank Lining Systems are applied worldwide by our own specialist personnel or specially trained licensees.


Protection for beverage tanks
A tank lining has the dual function of protecting both the tank (from corrosion) and the stored food stuff (from contamination). In addition, there is the demand for easy cleanability and at the same time high resistance to cleaning agents and disinfectants. Munkadur® coatings meet all these requirements in an excellent way.
In our company’s own laboratory, Munkadur® is constantly being further developed in order to meet the constantly increasing requirements of food legislation. The production and application of the lining material is subject to strict controls.
