Product Description
ITM-51 Turbidity Meter: Your solution for more resource efficiency, with IO-Link
Active phase transition for more resource efficiency: With passive phase transition through time or volume control, a safety buffer must always be included. This means a loss of product and/or quality in every process step. Thanks to inline analysis, the ITM-51 can switch over precisely when the specified degree of turbidity is reached.
Application:
In production processes: Active automated phase transition of beer / water or green beer / yeast by inline analysis of the turbidity level and active, precise switching.
In CIP-SIP cleaning processes: Active automated and temperature-independent phase separation when returning product / acid / caustic / water.
Minimisation of cleaning time and thus also water consumption: active changeover after reaching the desired degree of cleaning by inline turbidity analysis, and not after passive, fixed time control.
Benefits:
• Compact front flush turbidity sensor with backscatter principle, in modular set-up
• Flex-Hybrid-Technology with digital + analog interface (IO-Link + 4…20 mA)
• Increased application range (Process temperature up to 130°C, pressure -1…20 bar)
• Independent to reflections at small diameters or electro-polished surfaces
• No color dependency (wave length 860 nm)
• High reproducibility: ≤ 1% of full scale
• Selectable measuring range (%TU, NTU, EBC)
• Extended sensitivity: 200…300.000 NTU equivalent
• Remote version with Smart Replace Design: Easy replacement of each component just by connecting
