The M.E.T.E-VHT handle applicator from Twin Pack, the Italian specialist for handle applications, can process different formats without having to change mechanical parts - simple changes in the software settings are sufficient.
In addition to the simple format change, the handle applicator offers many other advantages that increase the customer's flexibility. Depending on the requirements of the customer's line, it can be configured as a left- or right-hand operation variant. With the flexible label magazine, both self-adhesive labels in combination with cardboard strips and pre-laminated tape can be processed. The cardboard strips can be neutral, coloured or printed with advertising text and/or images. They are also suitable for printing a barcode for the entire pack. Appropriate machine models are also available for applying uniclips or multiclips.
The machines are available in single-lane, two-lane and three-lane versions. The output per lane is up to 120 packs per minute. In the three-lane version, up to 360 packs per minute are possible.
Depending on the product to be processed, the machine can optionally be equipped with an arch-handle device. With the help of this unit, the handle can be applied at the desired height, ensuring at all times that the hand can reach into the handle loop when gripping.
Each application head can optionally be equipped with a second roll holder for self-adhesive tape rolls with a length of 5,000 metres. This facilitates faster changeover in the event of the roll running out. Alternatively, jumbo rolls with a larger capacity can be used, which increases the autonomy of the machine. Show More
